I’m Lived To Tell The Tale

These albums really take back in time with the 80s and 90s music era. You can hear the sound of synthesizer that really captures you into 80s and 90s music style. One song that step up from the others song in these album are “ Hold On ”. Its start with heavily drum beat then it grow and expand until you can hear the synchronize piano is playing at the peak of that song. The range is approximately 1 minute 32 second while the whole song that stretch around 8 minute. It’s the longest duration for a song that  I've  heard. I think the song maybe around 4 minute but to stretch to 8 minute could probably because the song has a good tempo. It’s a love song that you can feel the emotion especially in the chorus part but at the same time, you probably dance along with the song. These songs I describe as aggressive, energetic and heavily in bass and drum beats. I also heard that there are 2 songs are quite similar in using synthesizer sound techniques. Both songs are “ Matter Of Ti

It’s not silence but the way music continued to expand more into groove and hip hop style. The band from America try to differentiate their music although their follow the same root of alternative rock genre like the others band. This EP ( Extended Play ) contains 6 songs where one song called “ It’s Time ” in the track 5 had been taken from the previous EP in 2011 with the same title of that song. First track “ Radioactive ” begins with acoustic guitar and choir for few second before revive into emotional of synthesizer sound. Second track, it’s quite controversial to talk about the title of this song but it’s often that our lives are carried away to the dark. It’s a good choice if this song can make into the soundtrack of Hulk film, I guess if you know the whole meaning of this song. Third track “ On Top Of The World ” really experimental song with combining of some musical instrument especially percussion. I would describe this song as ‘ happy go lucky ’ song. Fourth track “

Experimental indeed! The band from Australia has launched their first album in 2011 . Not every song in the album really catches my ears but a few songs could attract you to listen. “ Finally See Our Way ” is nothing less than a groove sound and nice tune of synthesizer especially in chorus part. Another song called “ A.I.M. Fire ” really step up to the sound that a bit catchy. This song did not mention about someone try to aim something then fire a gun, its kindly different meaning to this song. Meanwhile, “ With Thoughts ” is very different from the others song. It’s more relaxed and cool song. Surprisingly, this is the only song that I know what it means from the entire album. Contrast “With Thoughts”, its “ Magic Fountain ” and “ Sledgehammer ”. I described as mysteries, aggressive, energetic and a bit of rough song. Overall, I give 69 out 100.
