ALLbum : X Ambassadors - The Reason (2014)


X Ambassadors is another band that associated with Alex Da Kidd, the guy who brought Imagine Dragons to the fame. Same as Imagine Dragons, X Ambassadors brings the motive of heavy bass drum sync with the influence of Hip Hop style. That proven in their second EP called 'The Reason'.

#1 Free And Lonely - Separated from your lover makes you have some space in life. But the love still tied each other and old memories remains, the conclusion of these song.

#2 The Business - If you're businessman or businesswomen, I recommended not try to listen of this song. It's about giving up your business. Maybe the cover of this EP derives from these song.

#3 Giants - This song is filled with high spirit contents. The term of 'Giants' probably related to New York Giants, the American football team. Moreover, the band is based in New York.

#4 Unsteady - If you're far away from home and always miss your parents, this song fit the bill. This song is filled with deep emotion, modest and passionate feeling by Sam Harris, the band vocalist.

#5 Shining - The intro is quite heavy with drum bits. But it still have groove and some synthesizer stuff, it's the common things for Hip Hop style. Nevertheless, it's shine like a diamond.

#6 Jungle (featuring Jamie N Commons) - Same as Shining, these song still use the typical bass drum effects that very simple but quite deeper from the previous song. Beware with the lyric contents.

I'm quite satisfied with the whole song from 'The Reason' compared to their previous EP, 'Love Songs Drug Songs'. Some of the songs have a 'hook' that catch your ear. I gave 88 out of 100 for 'The Reason'.

Disebabkan muzik video kumpulan indie tempatan ini selalu dimainkan di Astro Hitz saluran 705 , tercetusnya idea untuk saya memberi pandangan mengenai kumpulan ini. Saya tidak mengetahui maksud Fumikna itu sendiri malah tidak tahu serta mengkaji bait-bait lirik lagu tersebut secara lebih mendalam. Maknanya mungkin tersirat berdasarkan gaya vokal yang bersahaja dan ada kalanya nada sedikit marah. Kemungkinan besar liriknya berkaitan dengan kehidupan sosial dan keadaan sekeliling yang sentiasa berubah. Satu gabungan muzik yang mantap antara alternatif rock dan ska . Ulasan Novel Jiwa Kacau

Novel Jiwa Kacau daripada penulis Zati Hanani dan diterbitkan oleh Lejen Press. Aku beli buku ni kat Kedai Buku 1Malaysia di UTC Alor Setar. Aku tak sangka, aku beli novel ni amat murah di Kedai Buku 1Malaysia berbanding MPH. Ia berharga RM 17 berbanding harga biasa iaitu RM 20. Mungkin depa bagi diskaun kot. Tapi, aku dapat jimat 3 Ringgit. Novel ni dah lama berada di pasaran. Tapi, aku beli novel ni masa ia masih 'fresh' lagi iaitu cetakan pertama, Januari 2015. Novel kedua yang berjaya aku habiskan membacanya selepas novel Bau Semangat Anak Muda. Aku tertarik nak beli dan baca novel ni disebabkan kisah 4 individu yang ingin menubuhkan sebuah band muzik. Lagipun, aku memang pencinta muzik terutamanya indie group band. Novel ini ditulis oleh penulis perempuan iaitu Zati Hanani. Jadi, aku nak tau macamana dia menceritakan kisah sebuah band itu bermula dan berkembang dari kacamata seorang perempuan. Khabarnya, novel Jiwa Kacau ni adalah novel pertama beliau yang berjaya diter

ALLbum : Passion Pit - Manners (2009)

Manners were the first Passion Pit debut album that consist eleven songs including Sleepyhead , the song from their first EP ( Extended Play ) called Chunk Of Change . Manners deliver atmospheric feeling where they creating an exciting or emotional mood in certain song combined with awesome poetry lyrics.  I've  seen a lot of positive feedback from professional critics about Manners album in the internet such as Pitchfork ; suggest that Manners is deceptively consistent beyond its singles where if you like one Passion Pit song, you’ll probably like them all . [ Well, it’s true and it’s happen to me. The first songs  I've  hear from these albums was Little Secrets then Moth’s Wings until the last song entitle Seaweed Song .
