ALLbum : Speak - Pedals (2014)

A quartet band from Austin, Texas that drives the alternative of art rock genre. The cover album quite simple but if you're listen from first to the last song, you'll find some technicality from their music arrangement. But, one thing for sure, they 'speak' through their music style. The album consist 14 songs. I found several songs that probably catch your attention to listen and hear more.

Opening track, Gates will surely catch your ears with some string at the beginning. It's probably classical guitar, I guess. This track is not only solid of art rock arrangement but their write a good lyrics too. I found this song at Soundcloud playlist and it's hook my ears for the first time I've heard. I love the end of the song.

Second track, Mystery Lights caught you with the constant tempo of voices sampler at the beginning. Same as Gates, I loved the arrangement at the end. The sixth track, Peaks deliver the constant vibe of rhythm and some distortion from the guitar. I loved this song, just around 3 to 4 minutes from it's total length. Maybe this song cover too much repetition of the lyrics. I dunno either. It's hard to describe it.

Another potential song that probably caught your attention is track ninth, Be Reasonable Diane. Solid pop mixed with some 80's influence to the song. Overall, I think these albums are quite experimental through some riff and distortion of guitar and mixed up with electronic programming sound. It's not bad at all. I gave 69 out of 100 for their sophomore album.

Disebabkan muzik video kumpulan indie tempatan ini selalu dimainkan di Astro Hitz saluran 705 , tercetusnya idea untuk saya memberi pandangan mengenai kumpulan ini. Saya tidak mengetahui maksud Fumikna itu sendiri malah tidak tahu serta mengkaji bait-bait lirik lagu tersebut secara lebih mendalam. Maknanya mungkin tersirat berdasarkan gaya vokal yang bersahaja dan ada kalanya nada sedikit marah. Kemungkinan besar liriknya berkaitan dengan kehidupan sosial dan keadaan sekeliling yang sentiasa berubah. Satu gabungan muzik yang mantap antara alternatif rock dan ska . Ulasan Novel Jiwa Kacau

Novel Jiwa Kacau daripada penulis Zati Hanani dan diterbitkan oleh Lejen Press. Aku beli buku ni kat Kedai Buku 1Malaysia di UTC Alor Setar. Aku tak sangka, aku beli novel ni amat murah di Kedai Buku 1Malaysia berbanding MPH. Ia berharga RM 17 berbanding harga biasa iaitu RM 20. Mungkin depa bagi diskaun kot. Tapi, aku dapat jimat 3 Ringgit. Novel ni dah lama berada di pasaran. Tapi, aku beli novel ni masa ia masih 'fresh' lagi iaitu cetakan pertama, Januari 2015. Novel kedua yang berjaya aku habiskan membacanya selepas novel Bau Semangat Anak Muda. Aku tertarik nak beli dan baca novel ni disebabkan kisah 4 individu yang ingin menubuhkan sebuah band muzik. Lagipun, aku memang pencinta muzik terutamanya indie group band. Novel ini ditulis oleh penulis perempuan iaitu Zati Hanani. Jadi, aku nak tau macamana dia menceritakan kisah sebuah band itu bermula dan berkembang dari kacamata seorang perempuan. Khabarnya, novel Jiwa Kacau ni adalah novel pertama beliau yang berjaya diter

ALLbum : Passion Pit - Manners (2009)

Manners were the first Passion Pit debut album that consist eleven songs including Sleepyhead , the song from their first EP ( Extended Play ) called Chunk Of Change . Manners deliver atmospheric feeling where they creating an exciting or emotional mood in certain song combined with awesome poetry lyrics.  I've  seen a lot of positive feedback from professional critics about Manners album in the internet such as Pitchfork ; suggest that Manners is deceptively consistent beyond its singles where if you like one Passion Pit song, you’ll probably like them all . [ Well, it’s true and it’s happen to me. The first songs  I've  hear from these albums was Little Secrets then Moth’s Wings until the last song entitle Seaweed Song .
